Click to Rewind

The Click to Rewind feature introduces a unique playback flow that combines autoplay previews with user-initiated engagement. After an initial autoplay with muted content (post-ads), viewers are invited to click the player to rewind and watch the video from the start, triggering sound and new ad requests.

This approach increases ad exposure while keeping the user experience clean and engaging.

How it works:

• Once loaded, the player behaves as a standard autoplay player and immediately requests and plays ads.

• After ads finish, muted content plays as a preview (no autoplay triggered).

• When the user clicks, the video rewinds and plays from the start with sound (per the player config), sending a new ad request.

• Player then resumes regular behavior.

Note: Autoplay must be enabled in the player template for this feature to work.
