Delayed Autoplay

Delayed Autoplay triggers autoplay after a set time, overriding template autoplay settings.

This option allows you to set a delay (in seconds) before autoplay begins. This provides users with a brief window to manually click and start playback, which can help boost engagement. If the user does not interact with the player within the specified time frame, autoplay will be triggered.

Interrupt Delay with Sticky

When enabled, the delayed autoplay countdown will be interrupted as soon as the player enters sticky mode, and autoplay will be triggered immediately.

Notes:

  • If autoplay is disabled in the player template, the Delayed Autoplay feature will still activate autoplay, regardless of the template’s autoplay setting.

  • If sticky mode is enabled, the delay countdown will only begin once the player is in view. In general, the countdown will not start unless the player is visible to the user.
