# Enable Google Chromecast and Apple TV AirPlay
## Casting enables seamless streaming of video and audio to compatible devices using Google Cast or Apple AirPlay, with requirements such as HTTPS encryption and fixed playback quality.
**Casting Feature Overview:**
Casting allows you to utilize Google Cast or Apple AirPlay technologies, allowing for smooth streaming of video and audio content to compatible TVs or sound systems. By activating the casting feature for a player, viewers can easily start streaming by clicking an icon in the control bar, which sends the content to a cast-compatible device. If the player fails to detect a compatible device, the cast icon will remain hidden.
**Important Considerations for Casting:**
1. **SSL HTTPS Requirement:**
- Casting functionality exclusively operates under SSL HTTPS conditions. Ensure that your website or platform is configured with secure HTTPS protocols to enable casting.
2. **Advertisement Messages:**
- During casting, no advertisement messages will be displayed to viewers. This ensures uninterrupted playback of the selected content on the cast-compatible device.
3. **Quality Adjustment:**
- While casting, viewers will not have the option to toggle or adjust the quality of the content being streamed. Playback quality remains consistent without the ability to make quality changes.
