When you enable this option, the player initiates bidding (using PrebidJS, SpotX, or Amazon) as soon as the page loads, aiming for maximum performance.
By default, the Brid player, when implementing video header bidding with PrebidJS, SpotX, or Amazon, begins the bidding process immediately upon page load to ensure that bids and ads are prepared in advance and ready to display.
With this specific option, you can control this behavior, and the player's bidding process is as follows:
-
If the option is disabled:
- On click-to-play players, the player starts the bidding process only when the user clicks to play.
- On autoplay players, the player begins the bidding process as soon as possible.
- On autoplay players with a specified X% in-view setting, the player starts the bidding process when the player becomes visible in the specified percentage of the viewport.
-
If the option is enabled, the player will prioritize maximum performance and start the bidding process as soon as the page loads.
