The Loop Ads feature is designed to enable pre-roll ads looping for the first pre-roll pod. This involves repeating calls to ad tags from the waterfall.
Outstream player will loop the waterfall, meaning the first ad to return an impression will be displayed. Subsequently, it will cycle through the waterfall again, starting with the first tag.
Once the feature is enabled, specify the following options:
Ad Call Frequency: Specify the cue point interval at which you want your ad loop to repeat.
Error Limit: This represents the maximum number of consecutive full waterfall runs that do not generate an impression.
The loop ads option will be deactivated as soon as an ad is received or when the maximum number of attempts is reached. After an ad is received, ad looping will resume once the ad finishes playback.
NOTE: If you want to restrict the number of ad calls to a specific VAST ad tag per player session, you can configure this under the VAST URL ad source settings, Frequency (per ad slot) option.
