# Adding an ad unit template
## The TargetVideo platform allows partners to create Ad Unit Settings Templates, enabling centralized control over player behavior and appearance.
To simplify the process, the TargetVideo platform offers partners the capability to create Ad Units Settings Templates. This functionality empowers you to establish the player's behavior and appearance from a centralized point.
To create a template, please follow the steps outlined below:
- Navigate to the **AD UNITS** section located in the left-hand menu.
- Click on the **TEMPLATES** option, and then proceed by selecting the **ADD NEW** button.
- Select which of the two ad unit templates you would like to create, in-slide or in-content, and customize your ad unit behavior.
If you have multiple sites and wish to use the same ad unit template across all your domains, enable the 'Run of Network' option. This way, the template will appear in the AD UNITS *Templates* section under all your sites. Otherwise, the template will remain domain specific.
You can generate as many templates as necessary, accommodating your specific requirements. Additionally, you have the option to employ a single template across multiple players, but please bear in mind that any modifications made to a particular template will be automatically reflected in all players to which that template has been allocated.
