In most cases users use the monetization settings on the player level. This means that all monetization settings that have been set on a player level will apply to any video that is played back through that player.
This gives publishers a quick and easy way to monetize their video content. As publishers can create any number of Brid players, each player can have their own monetization settings so publishers can easily group videos per player and set different monetization settings for different videos.
If for any reason you wish to override monetization settings from a player level for any particular video, this can be done on a video level by clicking on a video in your video list and selecting the monetization tab.
Any type of ad that you add on a video level will override the appropriate ad that was set on the player level.
Example I
Your player has a single pre roll set.
If you set a pre roll on a video level, the pre roll on the video level will override the setting on the player level and therefore once this video starts playback in any of your players, the ad tag URL entered on the video level will be called instead of the one added on your player level.
Example II
Your player has a pre roll and a mid roll set.
If you set a pre roll and a mid roll on a video level, both the pre roll and mid roll ad tag URLs on the player level will be overridden. With this in place, once your video is played back in the player both the video level pre roll and mid roll will be called by the player.
