Lightbox Feature

Lightbox Feature provides a standard lightbox content unit experience. When a user clicks the video, the player opens in a full-screen pop-up overlay—a scrollable interface designed to showcase your video content.

The feature enhances user interaction and allows player volume control, helping improve yield performance while maintaining a clean and modern look.

Here’s how it works:

Once loaded, the player displays muted content— similar to a live image— without triggering autoplay.

When the user initiates playback, the video opens in a lightbox mode. Sound is enabled according to the player configuration, and ad requests are triggered.

If the user exits lightbox mode, the content continues playing in the background, muted.

If the user clicks the video again, playback restarts, initiating another cycle of ad requests.
