Playlist Analytics
Understanding the Playlists reports
The Playlists section under Analytics shows how your playlists perform: how often they are played, how far viewers watch, and which videos inside a playlist perform best.
Overview
The Overview report compares Plays vs. Impressions, showing how often your player was loaded and how videos were started:
- Impression – the player was loaded on a page.
- Auto Play – the video started automatically.
- Click to Play – the viewer started the video manually.
- Other – starts that do not fall into the categories above.
Use this report to see how many loaded players turn into actual plays, and how this differs between devices.
Playlists Videos
Lists your best-performing videos for the playlists, with these columns for each:
- Playlist plays – number of times the video was played.
- Playlist likes – number of likes.
- Ad imps. – ad impressions served with this video.
- Total bandwidth – data volume delivered for this video.
Use Download report in the top right corner to export the list.
Engagement
Shows how far viewers get through your video playlists, from player start to completion:
- Player-start – the player was initialised.
- Play – the video started playing.
- 25% / 50% / 75% / 100% – the share of the video viewers reached.
- Playback – total playback events.
A steep drop between Play and 25% usually means viewers leave early. Consider shorter videos, a stronger opening, or a different player placement.
Operating system
Shows which operating systems your viewers use (for example iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux), in total and per device type.
Browser
Shows which browsers your videos are watched in (for example Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera). In-app browsers, such as Facebook’s built-in browser, appear as separate entries. A high share there means a large part of your traffic comes from social media.
Socials
Shows which social media your videos are watched on (for example Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Geography
Shows the countries your viewers come from. Smaller markets are grouped under Other Countries and Other. If a legend has more entries than fit, use the arrows below it to see the next page.
Traffic sources
Shows the websites (domains) where your videos were played. This helps you compare performance across your sites and spot traffic from domains you don’t expect.
